Dr. Joshua Bletzinger, D.C.
Dr. Joshua Bletzinger earned his doctor of chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a bachelor of science in kinesiology from Northern Illinois University. With postdoctoral specialty training in functional endocrinology and clinical nutrition, Dr. Bletzinger and his staff have positioned Performance Clinics to serve the growing need for reversing chronic health conditions. His mission is to help people live free of chronic disease. His passion is to help children grow up well and help adults avoid chronic disease degeneration without the use of drugs or surgeries.
Dr. Bletzinger is the founder of Performance Clinics, which helps people return to health from complex health challenges. Along with Dr. Bletzinger’s service at Performance Clinics, he provides sports medicine services to various teams and organizations in the Fox Valley area, coaches youth hockey, instructs collegiate sports medicine, and lectures for professional organizations.
Dr. Bletzinger’s personal experience with athletic injuries and challenging health conditions is the very foundation of Performance Clinics. Dr. Bletzinger’s clinical focus is in the discipline of functional medicine, concentrating in chronic health conditions including type II diabetes, autoimmune disorders, brain health, and adult healthy aging. He also specializes in spine, knee, and shoulder physical medicine.
Dr. Bletzinger is a graduate of Culver Military Academy, where he lettered in ice hockey and golf. He played 4 years of ice hockey with Northern Illinois University’s hockey team and played, captained, and coached Palmer College’s hockey team. Dr. Bletzinger is married with two beautiful young girls.
